of the latest version. These features are continually improved
based on feedback we get from our users. Feel free to contact
us with any suggestions for improvements or enhancements to
GradeXpert.

- Increased
speed of database access improves performance throughout
the software.
- All
date selection fields now optionally display a calendar to
select a date, e.g. date of test, date of note.
- Faster
and easier student name searches.
- New
Delete Results button in Edit Results in List to
delete all displayed results.
- An
Extended Description for each assessment can be set
up that can optionally be printed on Individual Student Reports and
viewed when entering or displaying assessment results.
- Report
Filters (classes, year, terms, teachers, student indicators,
items to include) have all been combined into one easy to
use hierarchical selection list.

When selecting assessments to report on, you can now select
previous year’s assessments for this year’s class,
even if this year’s class has no assessment results
entered yet.
- Report
selections can be saved, loaded, renamed and deleted.
The saved report name can now also replace the default report
title on the report printouts.

Specific assessment columns can be included or excluded for
the Student Results Listing.
- Date
of Test, Student Age at Date of Test and Teacher
Name can be included or excluded from the Student Results
Report.
- Headings
can be printed vertically, alternate lines
can be highlighted and student name, student number, current
age, year, class and term can all be included or excluded from the
report.
- Any
number of Student Houses can be set up, and each
student can be assigned to a house.
- A
new Teachers list, separate to the current Users
list, can be set up, along with comments for each teacher.
- Each
teacher can be assigned to specific assessment for
a specific class/year/term and optionally be included on reports.
- Student
List can now be filtered by one or more Student Indicators
matching All Indicators selected, or Any Indicator selected.
- New
Means Summary Report displays average results (class
mean and grade mean) for selected assessments/classes/years.
- New
Quick Summary function displays a summary of all
assessments with results found in GradeXpert.
- Print
a Student Results Report directly from the Quick Summary screen,
which automatically fills in the required selections in the Reports
and Graphs screen.

- Automatic calculation of grade
mean and class mean.
- Result Attachments - for each
result and note, you can attach any type of document to that result
or note.
- Enter or edit student assessment results for a
class or grade directly into a spreadsheet-like grid
for faster data entry.
- Offline use - use GradeXpert at
home to enter new results and comments and then upload your changes
the next day.
- New "Letter" result
type - accepts letter results from A to E and allows
graphing and reporting on this result type.
- Assign teachers to classes allows
each teacher to be assigned to one or more classes, which then prevents
that teacher accessing any other class.
- Assign teachers to assessment groups
allows each teacher to be assigned to one or more assessment groups,
ensuring teachers only see results for their teaching areas.
- Unlimited note and result comment length
- each note or result comment can now be unlimited in length.
- Your school logo can now be added
to the top of each report generated by GradeXpert.
- Resizable windows - lets you see
many windows at once and resize them for any size screen.

- View
the student list as a grid of student photos (if
student photos exist) as well as the standard student names list.
- Student Lists can be displayed by entire
grade, not just individual classes.
- The current student list can be printed
directly from the student list.
- Each student can have multiple free-form Notes,
which are not attached to an assessment result, added to their results
history.
- Student results can be merged with
the new Merge Students function when the same student exists twice
or more in GradeXpert.
- Students and their results can be completely
deleted from GradeXpert database using the Delete Students
function. The existing Archive Students” function does not delete
any details, whereas Delete Students does.
- You can display results for a specific
assessment for the current student or you can select All
Assessments” to display all results found for the current student.
- Date of Test (D.O.T.) can now
be entered for each assessment result.
- Term can now be entered for each
assessment result.
- A student report can be printed
directly from the Student Results screen for the current
student.
- The results list for the current
student can be expanded or reduced.
- The Student Search has been enhanced
to allow searching on any part of a student name.
- Only assessments with results found
for selected class and year are available for selection,
which removes any guesswork.
- Combined Student Report can now also be Grouped
by Grade, not just showing individual student results but
average results for the whole grade.
- Student Photos can be printed on
Individual Student Reports.
- Assessment can be assigned an access level
to prevent unauthorized users viewing those results.
- Assessment Benchmarks can be set
up for each assessment, grade and term and included on reports for
comparison.
- Prep grades can now be added to
the list of classes and grades.
- Each assessment can now accept multiple
result types, e.g. raw score, percentile ranking, stanine.
- New access level of 0 - lowest
level. You now have four levels of access, 0, 1, 2 and 3 to assign
to a user. The highest level of 3 gives a user access to all functions.
- The list of students and/or assessment results
to import, as well as their import action, can be printed before importing.
- Context-sensitive Help now displays
the relevant Help chapter based on the screen you are on.
