Download the free, fully-functional demo version of GradeXpert now! (Requires Windows 98/2000/XP/Vista, 1024x768 minimum screen resolution).

1. Download and save the GradeXpert installation program (about 44MB). This contains the database installation and program installation (download link below).
2. After clicking the yellow 'Download' button below, you will be asked to "run" or "save" the GradeXpert installation program. Select "Save" and save Setup_GradeXpert4.exe to your Windows desktop to install after the download is completed. Do NOT select Run.
3. If you are already a GradeXpert user and are upgrading to version 4, download and install this demo version, which will be unlocked as soon as it's installed. Your database will be automatically upgraded and you will not lose any existing student details or assessment results.
   
   
   
   
   
4. After downloading, run the saved Installation Program (see Installation Menu picture below) on your desktop.
5. You will be shown the following Installation Menu screen. Simply follow the instructions shown to install GradeXpert database and program.
   

   
   
6. First install the GradeXpert database onto your school file server (for shared use with other users) or your laptop (only for your use). The GradeXpert database does not need to be installed if you are already a GradeXpert user, as your current database will be upgraded automatically.
7. Then, using the same installation program, install the GradeXpert program onto each user's computer (as many times as necessary).

9. Before entering student details and assessment results, we recommend reading the Getting Started Guide (PDF), This document will give you valuable information on the first steps to take after installing GradeXpert.

The diagram below illustrates where the GradeXpert database and program must be installed on your network for multi-user access. Detailed Installation instructions are contained in the GradeXpert installation program.

Limitation of Demo Version / Upgrading

The demo version (unregistered version) only allows a maximum of 5 students to be entered. All other functions, including entering and printing assessments & results, reports and graphs are fully functional:

1. To unlock this version from demo mode and allow more students to be entered, see the Licensing & Pricing and Registration pages.
2. If you register, you will not have to download and install the database or program again, you will simply be sent a registration code that will unlock the full functionality of the program you already have installed on your computers.

If you are already using a registered copy of GradeXpert and are upgrading to the new version, you do NOT have to re-register your program:

• Just install the new version of the Program only, not the Database.
• Your program will continue operating using the previous registration number without requiring a new registration number to be entered or the old registration number to be re-entered.
• No existing GradeXpert assessment data will be lost or overwritten during the upgrade to the new version.

If you have already received your registration code but not yet started using GradeXpert, you do NOT have to re-register your program:

• Simply download and install the new version of the Program and the Database.
• Enter your new registration number by following the instructions in your registration e-mail.
